The other night I found myself in a new blog that I discovered called Apartment Aesthetic and it's a lovely blog by Regina Belmonte, a blogger I found randomly through TopBlogs. When I got to Apartment Aesthetic, I was in love. Everybody knows how much I would just LOVE to live in an apartment with my own interior design so I definitely clicked the Follow button when I finished viewing all the interior posted on there. It's like we have the same taste! I would definitely love to meet Ms. Belmonte when she gets back from her trip!
I was thinking of making my own blog with the same theme but I just thought how much work it would be for me to handle three different blogs at the same time so I just thought, why not just make a new blog label? Apartment dreams good enough? Yes, I think that's good enough.
Ever since Princess Diaries 2 and Sex and the City, I've always dreamed to have my own walk-in closet! As in, really. When you come to my house and into my room, you could tell me that I don't have enough clothes for a walk in closet, but WHO CARES? I really want one 'cause I love that feeling when you feel like you're in a mall and I guess I feel organized like that. I really want my own walk-in closet when I get my own apartment/condominium. In case you guys haven't seen the closets from Princess Diaries 2 or Sex and the City, here you go:
This is from Carrie's original closet for how many seasons and the first Sex and the City movie
This was her new closet with her husband John in the second movie
I really do have a big fascination for walk-in closets or closets to be more simple. So after viewing Aesthetic Apartment, I just felt the need to see more interior of closets. And where else can I do that aside from... Google?! But wait! Just before I post photos from Google, here's Miley Cyrus' closet that I also like although we don't see so much of it in the video.
Now to the photos from Google!
I love everything about this closet except the counter in the middle. I don't like the thought of having a counter in the middle of my closet 'cause it makes me think of kitchens, which is weird. I'd like to have a small table like in Princess Diaries or a chair like in SatC and Miley Cyrus' room. Definitely not the counter though.
I almost forgot, one of my closest friends, Dani has a walk-in closet that she shares with her sister. I don't have any photos of her closet though, but when I do get one with her permission, I'll post it so I can show you guys. Anyway, this design looks somewhat like hers from how I remember it - the brown interior and the arrangement of the clothes. Only her closet is messier. Haha!
I love white despite it's disadvantages. I also love how simple but really class this closet is, too.
This closet may be a little too big for me and my clothes so let me just say that this would be perfect for me and my non-existent husband. I love how the black is working so fashionably here and not so dark, and the chairs around are perfect for when you want your friends/kids help for when you decide on what to wear. I don't know how I even thought of that, me and my imagination.
I can't believe I almost forgot! Ever since I watched Two Weeks Notice a few years ago, I also fell in love with George's closet. But it really is perfect for a bachelor more than a girl, 'cause guys can take one look at a suit and they're game but us girls love to stare.
Ah, me and my dreams. I really do wish that I can have my own walk-in closet in the future, also because I really want to organize my clothes!!! I have so much clothes that I don't get to wear or see because my closet is too messy. Let me show you:
So maybe after posting this entry, I'll start fixing my closet again, for the nthhh time. Haha!
