Day 09: We're meant to be best friends, not blood-related sisters.

Hi, everyone. So today was interesting. My mom and I went to the mall today to go shopping and stuff. I bought a baaag, and I'm so happy with it. I tried out Happy Lemon, I didn't really enjoy it as much as I enjoy Bubble Tea. Then finally, I bought STATUS Magazine's April issue, which makes me so happy. For several reasons, which involves my love for them (you already know that) and my crush. OKAY, THAT'S IT.

I'm down with a headache right now 'cause I've been feeling sort of sad all day for some reason so as usual, being me, I had my mind freaking out all day. I guess it got tired, so now I have a headache. Bad vibes, please. Leave me alone.

Day 9: A favorite picture of your best friend

Mainly, I have a lot of best friends. I actually have a problem figuring out who my best friends are and who my true friends are. I have few true friends so whenever I hang-out with them I'm always like, "AWWW, YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND" Haha! Honestly though, I have my sisters, and I have my best friends and all of them are my true friends. I may just confuse you.

Elora, Trixie and Hannah. 2009.

This is mainly my favorite picture with these two. They're my sisters for life 'cause they've both been there for me through good and bad. Especiaaaalllllyyyyy the good!!! We've had our usual ups and downs, and we've never had a fight that separated us three. It was always two against one, which is funny and immature at the same time. Our age gaps are funny too. Hannah's turning 18 in May 2011, I just turned 17, March 2011 and Trixie's turning 16, May 2011. Hannah and I are both in college, while Trixie's just entering college. They'll be going to the same school, while I'll still be sooo far away. Which makes me think about trying out my dream school again (De La Salle University). Whut do you guys thinkkkk?

Arielle and Bambam (still me, hi). 2011.

Not necessarily my favorite photo of us, but it's really cute. I love this little lady. I've already written about how special she is to me here. Check it out, yes?

I feel blessed to have these sisters of mine. I have a lot of friends, a few true friends who are my best friends and three sisters (aside from blood-related sisters). I love them so much.

Praise God for I have people in my life who love me and keep me sane. :)

12 years and counting.

One day, a girl around 4-years-old was playing outside her house with her yaya. She and her family were new in the neighborhood so the little girl really had no one to play with. While she was playing, she found two little girls, perpendicular from their street blowing bubbles. They seemed to have lots and fun and then suddenly, they said hi. Today, some of these things are a blur. But the little 4-year-old girl was given a bottle of bubbles by the little girl and instantly, they became friends. Years passed and so much has happened. First there were three of them, they called themselves The Powerpuff girls. Then they got close with another little boy, who was named Mojo Jojo, then they turned into this "cool group" and they formed the "Cool Kids Club".

Eventually, they all grew up and apart. The boy stopped hanging-out with the girls, maybe because he noticed he was spending too much time with girls more than boys. Then the third girl started hanging-out more with her friends from school. But the two friends didn't let go, they stuck together instead.

There have been ups and downs, and it was inevitable to be closer with friends from school. But even though these two girls had their own lives to live, they still treated each other special. Now 12 years later, they're both in college, living different lives, but still stuck with each other.

Hihi, a bit cheesy and crappy at the same time, but I'm trying to lift my spirits tonight. This is Arielle Torio. She's been my best friend for more than a decade now and even though we don't hang-out as much as we did before anymore, we still try to find even the shortest time for each other. I love her with all my heart and she never fails to make me smile and laugh. And it's amazing how she's always lifted my spirits on my birthday. I just realized that as I typed this up.

Around two years ago, my parents had to leave really early for work on my birthday. My sister had work, too. They woke me up around six in the morning to leave money for pizza and stuff and they had me invite some friends over. That day I cried 'cause I felt so alone on my birthday 'cause the friends who I hung-out with most of that time had other plans and were too busy to hang-out with me. Arielle was leaving the country to visit her dad the next day. She had very little time to hang-out with me but she still did. She made me laugh and smile that day and she did the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me:

I dramatically (but truthfully) told her that only few people have greeted me a happy birthday and it made me sad. So what Arielle did was she texted some of her friends my number and asked them to greet me. It was so heart-warming and special. People were texting me happy birthday even if they didn't know me, haha! And I'd be like, "Thank you! But who is this, please?" They'd reply, "I'm _____, Arielle Torio's friend. She texted me to greet you." It was weird, funny and sweet all at the same time!

That day we ordered a pizza and we even had her sister Jasmine (the third girl) come over. We ate and hung-out. They had to leave early, but it was okay 'cause they made that day so special and memorable.

And last year, we were all fresh high school graduates and we felt the need to hang-out. So again, she was present on my birthday! She introduced me to her friends who were real nice and I introduced her to some of mine. It was an awesome night with my girl.

My girl is so awesome. Tonight, on the eve of my birthday, she's done it again. A friend of mine left two hours ago and when she left I got so sad. I had big plans for tonight as a celebration for my birthday but since the people I wanted to hang-out with were too busy or unavailable and so is she, so none of my plans pushed through. I'm all alone here in the house with my dog and our helpers and that got me really sad and depressed. Arielle texted and asked if my plans pushed through and when I told her they didn't and that I was so sad, she kept on trying to think of ways to make me smile. She did, even if it was just online. Yesterday she and I hung-out too, after so many months and it was so awesome. Because 12 years of being friends and not once did we shop together, until yesterday and she and I even had lunch in my favorite birthday place!

To Arielle, hello. Haha! Ang cheesy ko. Pero I just realized how happy you make me feel all the time, especially tonight. I actually thought nothing could lift my spirits tonight, but you were there. Thank you so much, I love you. I'm sorry for being dramatic sometimes, haha! Nami-miss lang talaga kita. I love you so much. Thank you. More than a decade, my love! And totally counting. <3
